Making It Work Day Spotlight Award

Making It Work Day  is an annual ceremony of recognition and thanks for students, instructors, administrators, community partners, businesses and industries who "make it work" in education and the job market for Oklahoma.

Each year awardees receive an award of honor for outstanding participation or contribution to Oklahomans state wide.  The awards are  presented by dignitaries from Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technical Education, and Oklahoma Legislators - State Representatives and Senators.

Breaking Traditions is an annual award recognizing outstanding students, instructors, community leaders, and Oklahoma businesses who have made an impact by breaking traditional barriers allowing Oklahomans to be successful in their education and careers regardless of things like gender, age, and ethnicity.  Breaking Traditions awards are presented at the awardee's State Conference.  Some awardees then nominated for National CTEEC awards.
